Overview
Wallet setup guides for first-time users
This page shows how to create a Solana wallet with Phantom or Solflare, then bind it in Pulsar Billing. If you are using vouchers, keep reading the wallet requirement section below.
Why wallet is required
Pulsar checkout currently enforces a bound Solana payer wallet before creating any plan checkout session. That includes voucher-based checkout flows.
- 1. Bind wallet in Billing settings.
- 2. Connect the same wallet in checkout.
- 3. Apply voucher and continue checkout.
Set up Phantom
- 1. Install Phantom browser extension or mobile app.
- 2. Create a new wallet and securely back up your recovery phrase offline.
- 3. Set app lock/passcode and biometric lock if available.
- 4. Copy your Solana wallet address from Phantom.
- 5. In Pulsar, go to Billing and bind this wallet as your payer wallet.
Set up Solflare
- 1. Install Solflare extension or mobile app.
- 2. Create/import wallet and store recovery phrase offline.
- 3. Enable local security lock for the wallet.
- 4. Copy your Solana address from Solflare.
- 5. In Pulsar Billing, bind this address as your payer wallet.
Bind wallet in Pulsar
- 1. Open Billing settings.
- 2. In Wallet Guard, paste your Solana wallet address.
- 3. Save wallet guard.
- 4. Connect the same wallet provider (Phantom/Solflare) at checkout.
- 5. Make sure connected wallet and expected payer wallet match exactly.
Troubleshooting
- 1. Error: wallet mismatch. Connect the same wallet you bound in Billing.
- 2. Error: invalid wallet. Check for copy/paste mistakes and whitespace.
- 3. Voucher applied but checkout blocked. Bind wallet first, then retry.
- 4. Need help. Open support from dashboard and include the exact error text.
